Tapa Artwork

 Hey guys, Today I was doing some Tapa art work on Google Spreadsheets/Drawings. I choose to do it on Google Spreasheets, but during the end I wanted to switch. Chinese Proverb

 Nǐ hǎo, Today we did another Proverb DLO. But this time it was in Chinese/Mandarin because of Chinese language week. This was really hard because it was in another language, but once I got the translation it was a lot easier. The DLO I did was A Journey of a Thousand Miles Begins with one Step, which meant if you want something or you want to get somewhere you have to take the first step. Area of Multiple Shapes

 Hey guys, Today I did a DLO on how to find the Area of multiple shapes. First, we looked at our teachers demonstration which looked easy. Then we had to do ourselves, I found that bit a little hard at the Beginning. But I slowly understood and was able to finish it. This will be very useful for me when calculating Area of weird shapes, Because I will be able to cut them up into basic shapes then find the Area. So thank you Mrs Mundy. Chinese Phrases

Nǐ hǎo Everyone, This week we are Learning about Chinese and Tuvalu Language. I am finding this to be very fun because I am understanding Chinese and Tuvalu a bit more. Art day

 Hey guys, Today we were looking at different things we can use in our Animation about a Myth and Legend. We used 4 sites Sand Art, Silk Art, Ink Dot Art and then we did a quick draw game. My personal favourite was the Silk Art. Next time I think I could use them in my animation because I didn't use any of them because I couldn't find a place for it. Chapter Book Challenge 2

 Hey guys, For the past few weeks my teacher has been recording herself reading a book called Ban This Book which by the way is a great book that you should definitely read it. We had to a fill a out a bunch of questions based the book, The only thing I didn't like was that I had to wait till a video is made because for example one of the questions was to write a new ending and to do that I need the ending. But overall I found this to be very fun because I enjoyed the book. Next time I could start a bit earlier because I only started 2 weeks ago while the videos were coming out about 3-4 weeks ago.  Hey guys, Today we were learning about Area and Perimeter of traingles and we did a DLO (Digital Learning Object) on finding the area of traingles. I really liked this because I'm good at maths rather than other subjects, I found this to be fun because to was a bit more challenging. Next time I could probably try higher algebra.     Hey guys, Today I was learning about Different Angels. We had done a few of this last week, but this week we did a few different ones that were a bit harder. I found this to be a bit easy because I just had type my phrases in Google translate. Maori Proverbs

Hey guys, Today we did another Early Bird Challenge on Proverbs but this time it was in Maori. I found this to be a little challenging because this was a language that I couldn't speak so this required more searching, but then our Teacher told us where she got them from because one of the students found the site. But even though we found the site I still had to understand it and write it in my own words. Apart from that I really enjoyed everything and it was very fun. The Mystery of Angles

 Hey guys, This week for maths we have been looking at angles. This was especially fun for me because  love maths so I thought I might make a DLO (Digital Learning Object) on it to explain and show my understanding of it. You can find Angles every wher like Doors can have Acute Angles, while walls have Straight Angles and most commonly Corners have Right angles. I believe that every single thing has an angle. Boggle 2

 Hey guys, Today I did another Boggle for our early bird challenge. This time it took me a while to find 40 words and I even found long word (well it wasn't long but it was longer than most of the words that I found). Overall it was really fun, because I like being competitive and I wanted to win but I came second to a boy named John who found 45 words. Proverb Scavenger Hunt

 Hey guys, Today for our early bird challenge we did another Scavenger Hunt on Proverbs. Proverbs are bit like Idioms but they are more straight forward like the Proverb "look before you leap" witch means to make sure know what you're doing and don't rush into things. So this was very fun and exciing because as always I learnt something new that will definently help with my writing. Tongan Language Week

 Hey guys, Did you know this week is actually Tongan language week? So in our class, to celebrate it we made a Google Presentation showing some Greetings, Farewells and more. Fun Friday

Hey guys, Most of today we have been doing some fun things like a Paralympic competition. were blindfolded and also not using one of our limbs, This was especifally fun for me because I wanted to beat some of my school mates. Next time I think should habe beaten them. Then we into another meet wich was just as fun because we got to see Mrs Haioti shave her head for Cancer. She didn't have it but she was doing it for a mate from last, who went to this school last year and is a the older brother someone who is in her class. Good Job Mrs Haioti.

MIT Idioms

 Hey guys, This week we have been learning about Idioms wich mean differently than reading each word by itself. For example "Cat got your tongue?" is a famouse Idiom which means why are you quiet and it doesn't mean a cat has your tongue. Roman Numerals

Hey guys, Today I started to research and learn about Roman Numerals. I found this to be fun because I wanted to learn a new type of maths that I haven't seen before, Roman Numerals are basically Letters that represent numbers Like I = 1 V = 5. You may have actually heard of this before like kings, VIII wich actually means 8 because 5+1+1+1. I did a DLO showing what they mean and also I did some examples. Probability Challenge 6

 Hey guys, Today we did another Probability Challenge with our whole class on Google Meet. All we had to do was make the greatest number with 7 numbers, but we did know any of them and they were read to us one by one by our teacher. I didn't like this at the beginning because I didn't know we had to make the biggest number, so I was just playing around with the numbers when my teacher told me we had to make the biggest number.
